About Umm Qais

Umm Qais, ancient Gadara, is a prominent Greco-Roman archaeological site in northern Jordan. It was one of the cities of the Decapolis, known for its strategic location overlooking the Sea of Galilee, the Golan Heights, and the Yarmouk River. The site features colonnaded streets, a black basalt theater, and impressive Roman ruins.
